Follow the steps mentioned below to setup Net gear ac1200 wifi range extender static IP address.

Step 1:-Launch the web browser from mobile or computer connected to the extender.

Step 2: -Log in to your extender. After login, a page will display

Step 3:-Click on the login page and enter the login id and password. The status page you will get here.netgear nighthawk vdsl/adsl modem router.

Step 4:-Click on Menu icon which displays in your browser. You will get an extender menu display here.

Step 5:-From Netgear wifi extender setup select the settings and then select wireless settings from the settings. You will get wifi settings page here.

Step 6:-Click on the IP Address heading after scroll down. The page expands further. Here by default, the radio button will select which is the dynamically get an IP address from the router.

Step 7:-You have to select the button Use static IP address radio button.

Step 8:-Here you have to complete the fields to specify the IP address and IP network in the Net gear wifi extender setup page.

Note:-You need to have to take care that the IP address should be on the same range and the subnet of the main router is the same as the subnet of Mask.
